pub enum DragTableKindV1 {
Reference,
Projectile,
}Expand description
What a DragTableV1 describes, and therefore what the request’s BC means.
Variants§
Reference
A standard curve — an airgun pellet law such as GA2, say — that ballistic_coefficient
was measured against. Flown exactly as a built-in model is flown with its own BC, and so
is a ProjectileV1::bc_segments ladder measured against it: at each airspeed the
curve is divided by the band BC that flies there.
Projectile
This projectile’s own measured Cd (Doppler radar, for instance).
ballistic_coefficient is not used, exactly as with the CLI’s --drag-table, and a
ProjectileV1::bc_segments ladder is refused beside it (conflicting_fields), since
no BC reaches the drag.
